Hi, I’m Jamie, the person behind Manic Type. I’ve been chasing the typographic dream for the past decade—crafting expressive, detail-driven, and award-winning typefaces that give brands and ideas a voice of their own. I'm here to make dynamic and thoughtful typefaces that are full of wonder.

Why Manic?The name comes from manicule—the typographic pointing hand. It’s a nod to the handmade, the overlooked, and the oddly useful. That felt right to us. We make type that’s just like us, expressive, tactile, and most importantly, human.

Would you believe it's named Manic Type just so we could call our License the Manic(EULA)?
